I love the way this big didge plays. The first thing I notice about playing it is how easy it is to create layers in the drone as it is so responsive to any movement and can create an almost singing bowl type affect. The overtones are so easy and clear and the vocals really pop. Really nice dense older wood with a nice flare at the end. This one could be a runway model didge if there was such a thing and three beautiful woods top it off. One heck of a didge!

This is a really old stalk that has a sweet drone and feel to it. This would be a great beginner didge as C# is a nice key to start in and great amount of backpressure will really help you in circular breathing.Great vocal abilities and easy overtones too.  I have inlaid some turquoise to accent the older wood that has a nice weathered appearance.

This is an extremely old stalk that took a lot of effort to make but  was definitely worth it. The wood on this one is extremely dense from so many years baking in the desert sun and sounds almost like eucalyptus when you knock on it.  Nice solid drone with easy overtones and great vocals and a real beauty to top it off.

This didge is an absolute beast. Weighing in at 4.6lbs for an F agave is pretty unusual. Very thick dense wood until the the bell where it thins out creating a nice vessel for sound projection. This has so much volume and bass and clarity all in one with tremendous vocals. You will be heard well in any sort of jam session  with that huge bell.

This is one of the oldest stalks that I have worked on for a while and  it took a lot work to bring back to life but it all paid off as I love the way it plays. I wanted to add some turquoise to it for some nice contrast with the older wood grain and ended up with a nice pattern that flows with the curve of the didge and looks much more impressive in person. A great one to look at and when you play it will feel the tremendous power is posseses.

Oh man this one is just a gorgeous didge! I wanted to make a longer mouthpiece on this one and used Walnut from my great grandfathers tree that has been aging for more than 50 years! Interwoven with the Walnut are Padauk, Bubinga, and Canary.  This has a great bore on it with a mesmerizing drone full of bass and power. There are so many possibilites when playing this one and with that big bell you will definitely be heard expressing them. Sounds so great at top speed and so clear playing ambient soundscapes. This will definitely turn some heads and be the envy of many a didge player.

This didge would be perfect for the didge player that is just starting out. The drone comes so easily and takes little breath to get it going. Strong backpressure for easy circular breathing and with the longer thinner bore neck it allows for easy overtones. The bell is a nice size and has really nice sound projection with great vocals. A great didge to start your journey!

This is a spicy didge with tons of spunk! Nice quick taper with a curvy narrow neck on it. Really fast rhythmic and percussive capabilities with easy overtones also. Old wood with tons of character and a multilayered mouthpiece for some extra flash, although this didge already has lots of that.

If you want to use the didge for meditative purposes this would be the perfect didge for you. A nice deep resonant C that has so much backpressure you barely have to blow into it and circular breathing couldn’t be easier. The vocals are so fun on this one and with the great length you can really travel them up and down to create great depth. The overtones are a cinch also and really nice and clear. As I stated earlier this one seems to like to play in more of a slow meditative way although you can play fast with ease on it too. I think it will end up slowing you down again for you to enjoy the richness and calming properties of its sweet drone.

I got a new carving tool the day I was working on this one and was having so much fun  I just kept going. Tons of turquoise that wraps all the way around the neck of the didge. This one has tons of volume with a full bassy drone. Great vocals that really project and nice dense tone wood.

Another one of my agave mouthpiece creations and another that plays with ease. 3 very easy to reach overtones for those that like to incorporate them in your style. The drone is nice and crisp with very strong backpressure with hardly any breath required. I have played this one quite a bit and it has a great feel to it. Great for a beginner to advanced and a really nice look with the agave top. These are two really old stalks with tons of cracks and bug holes to give it a nice rustic appearance.

It seems fitting that a nice piece of red Padauk finishes this didge off as this didge has a ton of fire to it.  This has a longer narrow neck which flares out to a nice sized bell. Easy overtones and the drone has a nice balance to it. Vocals really project well too and this one takes very little breath to play. This one was really attacked by the insect life which ends up adding lots of character and beauty as I have inlaid a ton of turquoise in it. A beautiful piece to look at and play!

Yes you read the dimensions correctly. This has a huge 8 1/4″ bell with a very fast taper. The more I play this one the more I like it. Tons of volume and the vocals really pop. The taper allows for some really nice clear overtones that really project. I guess I could say everything projects well out of this one. Nice old wood also and in my Old Soul style I leave the cracks exposed to show its age and wisdom. This is a real keeper and has tons of stories to tell.
