This is a real lively didge with lots of character. Nice backpressure and vocals and loves to play fast wobble like rhythms. The mouthpiece has some amazing wood combos and the french polish really pops the wood. Being a very old stalk I have inlaid a lot of turquoise throughout to appeal to the player both sonically and visually.

I am not really sure where to start with this one but here it goes. To start this didge is pretty  wild looking and sounding. This is the first G that I have made and it is high pitched and full of energy. I combined two really dense old stalks but then decided it would be fun to make it even more unique by adding a 13″ mouthpiece full of some incredible woods. This long neck and huge bell at the end create some astonishing rhythmic abilities with incredible volume. The bore near the bell is so big I can reach my whole arm up to my shoulder in it. There are a ton of bass notes that hit almost like a drum when you get it just right. Overtones are beautiful and easy to reach especially the first deeper overtone. I wouldn’t recommend this to a beginner but someone who has played for a while as it can be a little intimidating at first. A one of a kind didge that would be a great addition to someones collection!

One of the strongest stalks that I have found over all these years of searching the AZ mountains. When you hold this didge you can just feel the power that is possesses. The way this one plays will inspire the most seasoned didgeridoo player and would also be incredible for someone just starting to play.  Feels like there are endless rhythms inside this piece that are waiting to explode out that nice bell.  When I played this one  for the first time it was one of those moments when you create an instrument and are  so excited to have built it and find rhythms that you have never thought of. Beautiful woods in the mouthpiece and joint with great curves and sits perfectly as you play. All natural finish that pops the wood and will just get better over time with age. Loving the French Polish technique!

When I came upon this stalk my jaw dropped. One of the larger flower stalks that I have found  in the wild and estimated it to be about 25 feet. I am more and more amazed by these beautiful plants every time I go searching for them. The wood has so much resonance and I knew right away that I wanted to make a big bore deep didgeridoo. Well, I accomplished my goal and this thing is just awesome. It plays so easily and puts you in an instant meditative state. A# is such a cool deep note and always has felt great to hear and play. With the huge bore there is so much bass and has such a rich drone. Incredible vocals and tongued rhythms with amazing response. If you have never owned an A# now is the time. Can’t even imagine what this would sound like through an amp! Beautiful thick piece of Zebrawood to top off this one of a kind didge!

I had a friend in town recently from New York who loves to hike. The hills where I get my Agaves can be extremely steep and rugged and I have seen some off in far distance that I had always wanted to check out. We ended up hiking to the very top of one of these hills I have waned to explore and  found some amazing agaves. This is the one however that stood out above the rest. I love thick, old agaves and this one is one of the densest stalks I have found. I love the way it plays and has so much depth and character to its drone. I couldn’t be happier with how it came out and you really can play explosive, fiery rhythms. Clear easy overtones and tremendous vocals. This is just the tip of the iceberg on what this one can do.  If you are a guitar player you are probably aware of the woods in the mouthpiece. I ordered this Swamp Ash specifically for this didge. A prized wood for its extreme resonance and has some beautiful grain that is accented nicely by the Mahogany. I used two different Shellacs for the french polish as I wanted to enhance the darks and lights. I used a clear on the ash and a dark shellac to bring out the the agave stalk. As you can see I love this didge and think you will too!

This is  a solid didge that has such a great feel to it. Hardly any breath required to produce a solid, crisp drone. The long thin neck and big bell  allows for easy overtones and explosive rhythmic capabilities with such responsiveness.The wood grain has some very unusual Leopard like patterns that  gives this didge a real presence about it. To top it off I used a beautiful piece of air dried Walnut that I accented with the Mahogany. An incredible player with looks to boot.

The more I play these higher pitch notes the more I love them. I may have mentioned before but will again that F# has got to be one of my favorite notes. When I was talking to a flute player about this he stated that is was the principal note of the Native American flute. Makes sense the more I play it and realize that gravitate towards the  the sharps and flats. This one can create such ambience and speedy, poppy rhythms that are full of energy. Hardly any breath required and has tremendous vocals and volume with its thin walls. Highly recommend this one!

This is a solid didge with great twisted wood grain and a really unique flare at the bell. Dense, thick, solid old wood that thins out near the base for good sound projection. This one is so easy to play with a nice crisp drone and awesome vocals and easy overtones. These shorter, thick Old Souls have become really popular and the favorite of many repeat buyers.
