Another huge agave I found on my last harvest of the spring. This flower was growing near a creek bed so the added  runoff  it got from the desert rains helped in growth of  this agave that once stood  over 30 feet before it fell to earth. As you can see from the flower nubs, with turquoise inlays, that this stalk was near the top of the agave, it was that enormous! It is so fun to play these huge agaves and the deep and rich bass tones are just so calming and restorative. It has awesome back pressure and takes very little breath making circular breathing  much easier. The vocals are outstanding and can sound like they are far away or so close with how you can move them around in the didge. If you enjoy creating soundscapes and ambient, meditative  style of play this would be such a great fit. It is so relaxing to play and will quickly take you to another place. Such a gem of a didge that instantly helps transport both the player and listener with its deep mesmerizing drone and capabilities!
