When harvesting agave you can see most of the agaves from far away with their amazing stalk or big base  if they have fallen to the ground. I came upon this one hiking up a hill and it was completely out of sight hidden by the tall grass. I loved its shape and its thick and dense wood and even being a bit on the smaller side knew it would be a wonderful and powerful didge. This old soul laid in the grass for a very long time and so cool to think of it now transformed to play on for another life. This one would be so great for a beginner and any level as it takes so little air with its shape and has a drone of a much bigger didge. It has amazing percussive capabilities and overtone capabilities with this shape and very dense wood and loves to play both fast and slow and ambient and has such a crisp, solid drone. There were so many bug holes in this one that I chose instead of turquoise inlays to leave filled with back filler and love the look as it feels like a humble and complex teacher didge and also why I chose a smaller cherry ring for the mouthpiece to add to this didge that will surprise you how deep and complex it is. A beautiful didge for every level player!
