I am lucky to have so many creative friends. My good friend Jack Brown painted this one. This didge has a number of yellow and green stars painted near the bell with fish hooks holding them from strings that travel up to the mouth. Besides the amazing art the didge has a beautiful tone. The key of C is very popular for didges and is a great note to start playing.

This is a nice starter didge with good tone and ease of play. Requires very little breath to get the drone going. Some beautiful wood grain with lots of long red streaks running up and down the stalk. This was on of my friends’ favorites for outer beauty.

Great tone and volume. Ability to play very fast but sounds great with slow ambient drone also. In general higher notes are faster and take a little more breath to circular breathe. Once mastered these are very energetic and lively when played.

Painted by my friend Jack Brown. This is the first one he painted for his final art project. I can’t imagine how many hours were put into this one. This is one that jumps out at you right when you see it. The whole didge is painted with vibrant colors and octopus tentacles reaching up the didge. It has a great deep tone with a nice almost singing bowl sound to the drone. Takes little breath because of its shape and size. An amazing combo of art and sound.

The key of B is hard to find. It has an extremely calming and relaxing effect on the player and listener. B didges always sell fast because of this deep tone. This one is has great back pressure for easy circular breathing with the slower taper. Thick and strong with unbelievable wood grain having tints of black, red, and white.
